Circus Humberto
Cirkus Humberto is the most famous and largest Czech circus, named after the famous novel of the same name by Eduard Bass. It is a traditional circus with animals. I have been documenting this circus for 16 years and I try to capture it in a way that the viewer cannot see. Mainly everyday life and backstage during the performance. By visiting frequently, I have managed to achieve that the circus members do not perceive me as a stranger and do not mind my presence. The images in this file are from recent years and have not been published in such a large number.
